London Comedy Writer Angeline Andews brought her script Behind the Scenes to the London Comedy Writers meeting in 2007. She has since worked towards getting it produced and now is that time.

The World Premiere of Behind The Scenes, (which Angeline written, produced and am performsin) begins its theatrical run on 14th July at The Colour House Theatre.

Three ambitious women, too many leaflets! Meet Fiona, Letitia and Tara - three young performers making ends meet by working in the world of promotions. Watch them divide their days between wine-fuelled cat fights, skiving in cafes and cringing as they perform an intimately-themed cheerleading song! Follow their laughter and tears as they find themselves working on naff events and embarrassing exhibitions to fuel their paths to stardom!

The play will run 14-20 July (no performance on Fri 18th) at 10pm .The play is part of the summer arts festival, Abbeyfest, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as the opportunity to see other theatre and live music beforehand.

The nearest tube is Colliers Wood (Northern line) and the theatre is a five minute walk away. Turn left out of the tube and follow the high street past Carphone Warehouse and Kiss Me Hardys. Cross the blue bridge into Sainsburys and walk through the carpark. You will see a small underpass signposted for Abbeyfest and Merton Abbey Mills. Go through there and on the other side of Pizza Hut and KFC is Merton Abbey Mills! The Colour House Theatre is by the bandstand.

For drivers, Merton Abbey Mills  is on the A24 (Merantun Way).
