Submit a short story together with a flash fiction.
- Short Story word count between 1000 minimum and 5000 maximum
- Flash Fiction word count 750 maximum (no minimum!)
First Prize £1,500 (approx. €1,140 - 1,642 US dollars)
Or your collection of shorts, flashes or a novella published. The book can, if you wish, combine all three disciplines, with a total word count of up to 40,000 words, plus - you will also receive £500 advance royalties and 75 books.

3rd Prize £100
Seven runners-up £50 each.
The top ten 'Combos' will be published in the Winners' anthology and each author will receive three copies.
Rules
Submissions must be wholly and exclusively the original work of the author. All winning Combos will - and this is a condition of entry - appear in the anthology. Copyright will still remain the intellectual property of each individual author.
This contest welcomes writers from around the world, but all entries must be in English
No entry form required, just include personal contact details with your entry.
Judging is by a panel to be appointed with Brian Lister (Biscuit's Managing Editor) as Chairman.
Entry fee is £12.00 per Combo (Combo = short story plus flash fiction) online or postal.
You can submit as many Combo entries as you wish.
Deadline for submissions: 31 January 2012
Results announced: 31 March 2012.
