All stories on any theme are welcome, the more interesting and unusual the better, but no stories for children please.
No connection to Scotland is required, either by theme or entrant.
First prize : £400
Second & Third prizes of : £50 each
Closing date : July 31st 2011
Max. word count : 2,500
Entry fee : £5 per story, or 3 entries for £12

Payment can me made on-line via Paypal (see below), and if sending entries on-line, please send them as word.doc attachments so that formatting is not compromised.
If paying by Paypal and posting your entry in hard copy, please attach Paypal receipt.
Entry form can be printed from the website, or posted out if an SAE is sent;

Entries should be single-sided, double-spaced and pages numbered, attached with paperclips, please, not staples;
The winner will be announced at the end of October 2011, and winning entries & runners-up will subsequently be published on our website: entry into the competition will assume this to be tacitly agreed; full copyright remains with the author.
