
Competition: Horror and Speculative Fiction Writing Competition

We are looking for short stories for AVERSION our new quarterly horror and speculative fiction e-zine.
Each edition will have between 8 and 12 stories.
All published stories will be chosen from the competition entries.
1) Entries should be between 1500 and 4000 words in length
2) We accept horror and speculative fiction .
3) Entries are welcome either by post or online.
4) Fees must be in pounds sterling - either via PayPal or cheque
5) You can enter as many times as you wish. Each entry will be treated separately.
6) Each entry must be the original, work of the stated author. Reprint are considered. Full copyright is retained by the author.
7) Postal entries, must be legibly, and the author's name and the title of the story must be printed at the top of each page.
8) Postal entries must be sent, with adequate postage attached, to:
Aversion, Acacia Books, 147 Bath Street, Ilkeston, DE7 8AS.
9) Stories cannot be returned so please do not send original manuscripts.
10) The judges decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
11) Entries will be judged after the next closing date following submission.
12) The closing dates are - 31st January, 30th April, 31st July and 31st Oct
13) The winner will receive £100, the runner-up £50 and third-placed £20. They will also be named on our web site with a link to their web site if required. All other published entrants will receive £5. Each published entrant will receive their winnings within 60 days of the closing date.
