Bare Bones Nights was set up by Rebecca Adamson to provide a platform for exciting young and emerging directors and playwrights to develop new work in partnership.  What you get on the night are 4 brilliant new short plays starring some of the hottest actors in London.

The Old Red Lion Theatre in Islington, London has been host to some of the UK's most exciting theatrical talent since its opening in 1979.  It won the Dan Crawford Pub Theatre Award in 2006 at the Peter Brook Empty Space Awards and is regarded highly as an enduring fringe venue on the London theatre scene.

Playwrights can submit scripts directly to Bare Bones following the guidelines below.

We are also interested to hear from directors in contact with playwrights who have an idea that they want to develop together.
