Genuine, no fee competition for unpublished authors.

Now, as you know, competitions are not always what they seem initially. So let us state immediately that there is no fee to enter the Kinglake Unpublished Authors Competition. This is genuine, the real thing, and we look forward to reading a variety of submissions. We are convinced that there is a lot of talent out there and we are keen to find it.

Now the other side of the coin! There can only be one winner each month. While we guarantee fairness, and we can certainly guarantee that your work will be read, we cannot say that you will win.

April's Competition

Horror & the Supernatural. Vampires. Voodoo and the living dead. Apocalyptic. And, of course, good old ghost stories.

One winner every month for twelve months. A different genre every month from May 2010 to April 2011. The closing date for a genre is the last day of the month in which that genre appears.

There are 12 genres, which is one for each month.

FEBRUARY 2011 Historical and Mythological
MARCH 2011 Westerns
APRIL 2011 Horror and the Supernatural
