Showcase for short plays by new theatre writers at the Southwark Playhouse.

Little Pieces of Gold is delighted to announce its next showcase for new writing at the Southwark Playhouse on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012.

Following on from their highly successful performance in February, they will be be producing eight new fifteen minute plays at the Southwark Playhouse on Sunday, 3rd June.

They are looking for engaging new work that has something to say about the way we live now. All work will be read and, if short-listed, passed to their directors who will then select the final 8 plays. Each piece will then be cast and rehearsed to performance standard.

Their readers include: Julie Press, Literary Division, MacFarlane Chard Associates, Laura Jessop, National Theatre’s Script Readers’ Panel and Sarah Barton, Development Producer, BBC Drama
