London Screenwriters Festival want YOU to leave the festival with a produced short film, ready to enter into film festivals and send to agents, broadcasters and producers as a sample of your PRODUCED work…
As part of the London Screenwriters Festival 2010, we are running a short screenplay competition. If you win, here’s what you get…
1. We will ‘option’ your script and pay you £500.
2. Your script produced by a professional film making team (during the festival) and premiered as part of the closing ceremony at The London Screenwriters Festival 2010.
3. Lunch with a top writers agent in London.
4. A pass for next years London Screenwriters Festival 2011.
OK, now we have you hooked, how does it work?
First you write a great screenplay that is under ten pages. It must be set at a college as we will be shooting the film at the LSW2010 venue, Regents College (See pic here). The screenplay can be any genre but it must feature no more than five characters (three of which must be student age, given that it’s set at a university.)
If you are a delegate of the festival, you can enter your script for free. In fact you can enter up to three scripts. Send your scripts directly to:
