COFILMIC and the GUMPTION CENTRE are inviting screenplay submissions for comedy films or filmed comedy sketches.

They are encouraging collaborations between film makers, live comedy performers and comedy writers, in order to inspire a unique style of comedy content - one which is funny, smart and attractive to comedy buyers.

This is a writing competition, sponsored by the Bradford City of Film, where the scripts will be judged by comedy industry experts and the winner announced at the COFILMIC With Gumption event on 27th June 2012.

The prize will consist of a one day film shoot and post production edit by a crew, director and producer chosen by COFILMIC and GUMPTION CENTRE. In addition, the film will also have free entry into the next COFILMIC Comedy Film Festival.
