Roll up, roll up, the Jameson First Shot competition is officially open! You now have until 31st December 2011 to write and submit your short script to be in with a chance of winning our once-in-a-lifetime prize, having Hollywood legend Kevin Spacey cast in your own short film.
Entering the competition couldn’t be simpler; just register your details and then upload your script. Easy! You can enter the competition now by clicking here. Have a quick look at our top tips and our rules to make sure your script is in line with what the judges are looking for – it must be no more than seven pages long and must be inspired by the theme of ‘legendary’, ‘humorous’ or a ‘very tall tale’.
- You must read and agree to the full terms & conditions
- You must be over 25 years old to enter
- Only entrants living in America (excluding California), Russia and South Africa are eligible
- Do not depict anyone under 25 in your script
- Please do not show excessive violence or scenes of excessive drinking, weaponry, drink driving, drugs or drugs references
- Your script or screenplay must be at least 5 pages but no more than 7 pages in length on A4 paper size in 12 point Courier font. Click here to download script format template.
