Get ready to pitch your script to the most influential people in film with David Pope, the director of advance films, whose directing credits include the award winning feature film, MILES FROM NOWHERE. As the former head of the New Producers Alliance, David knows the who’s who of the industry, and he will get your pitch up to speed so that you’re ready to be introduced to a network of contacts tailored to your project. David will help you position your screenplay for the industry and recommend to you the producers and executives who are just right for you.

Simply upload and submit the first 10 pages of your feature length screenplay, keeping it private or public. There is a £15 ($24) entry fee for this competition, but all entrants will receive a free professional feedback report on their 10 page entry. Even though there can only be one winner any project recommended by our professional reviewers will also be eligible for the Circalit Gold List.

How the winner will be selected?

Our staff readers will read all submissions and put a shortlist together. The winning script will be decided by David Pope.

Prize

The winner will receive a free one-on-one pitching session with David Pope in London (or on skype for those who would prefer). During the session the winner will learn how to refine their pitching techniques to get ready to pitch their idea to producers. David will then recommend and facilitate introductions to any relevant industry connections to whom the project can be taken forward.

Runners-up will be added to the Circalit Gold List, where their project will be accessible to agents, producers and publishers browsing Circalit.

All entrants will receive a professional feedback report.

Rules

-Entries will be judged on the first 10 pages and your feedback report will be on the first 10 pages of your script.

-Feature length screenplays and teleplays are eligible.

- The entry fee is £15 and multiple entries are allowed.

- The Winner will be contacted by email using contact details supplied on Circalit.
