NewsRevue is a Guinness World Record holder for longest running sketch show, and the clue is in the name – all about the news! We aim to be as topical as possible, with the show being re-rehearsed every week and new material being added as news stories break. In order to do this we rely heavily on our team of comedy writers.

We’ve got an open submissions policy.  We need sketches for up to four performers, character monologues, medleys and solos, the more topical the better! Songs tend to be most effective if they're quickly recognizable and we'll try and advise if any of our cast are particularly good at imitating certain people.

I'll add you to the writers list so you receive director requests and information. If you could cc the current director on any submissions from now on, email address olinewsrevue@googlemail.com.

Running orders are sent out weekly so you can check which material has been used, and payment is by cheque at the end of each run. I'm afraid that we can't offer feedback on individual sketches because we receive so many but you may occasionally get an email from a director asking you to make some specific edits to a piece.
