Hull Truck Theatre is committed to commissioning and producing new writing. We continuously invest in writers, discovered by our Artistic team through unsolicited scripts and literary agents. Our literary developmental process encompasses aspiring writers through to senior dramatists; local and national voices.

New Theatre Publications a publishing company that is owned and managed by writers. The Playwrights’ Co-operative is a not-for-profit organisation whose aims are to cut out the middle-men and profit-makers from the world of theatre publishing and give individual playwrights the opportunity to take greater control and responsibility in the marketing of their work with all the benefits that full publication brings.

DayWalker Productions is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Now in its seventh year, its core activities are the production of open air theatre, indoor theatre and film. In line with our ethos to seek and foster new talent we are always glad to receive new works for consideration.

The Collective Theater Company accepts scripts for plays and musicals all the time and an agent is not needed. The collective does not accept Film treatments or screenplays (we do not do films). Response time is three to six months. Scripts will be returned only by stamped self addressed envelope which must be included with the script submission.

UPSTART aims to read all plays submitted to us, although our limited funding means this can take some time. When submitting a play it may be worth considering ways in which the piece fits in with our vision of theatre that illuminates, challenges or even seeks to change the world around it.

New writing is the lifeblood of the Full Circle Theatre Company.
We accept scripts throughout the year and will consider any genre, subject matter and style, we will consider one act plays running from 30 to 45 minutes and short plays which can range from 5 to 20 minutes.
